Scrapping Publications Updated

Did you know that  I keep an updated listing of scrapbooking publications on this blog?  It was recently updated as many publications have closed.  It saddens me that so many paper magazines and e-zines have closed.  For this reason, I try to support as many of them as I can!  Check it out on the Scrapbook Publications Listings on the main menu above.

There’s so many exciting things going on in the Digital Communities these days, it’s very hard to keep everything up to date!

The Daily Scrapper News

First, TDS now has it’s own Forum and Gallery called TDS World Expo! It’s completely open and it isn’t associated with any particular stores and designers.  This means it’s a community where all kinds of information can be shared and exchanged.  Please come visit!

The December Issue of The Daily Scrapper was released at the beginning of the month.  This special issue will be the only magazine this month.

This issue has FOUR Freebie kits for TDS readers!

In addition, The Daily Scrapper Retailer Listing has been released.  This special year-end reference lists stores and designers….AND IT HAS LINKS!  What a fantastic reference tool!  And be sure to check out the coupon section for some fabulous deals!

I’m not much of a Fantasy Scrapper – actually I’m one of those scrappers without a particular style at all.  But, I’m proud of myself for really embracing the idea of Fantasy!  I mean…what could be more of a Fantasy than hanging out on the moon and watching the big ole earth in the background?

And here is another Fantasy layout from me – I had a blast creating this Magical Playground scene!

I’m PUBLISHED! In Somerset Digital Studio

Somerset Publications publishes multiple artistic magazines such as “Somerset Memories.”  They just released their 2nd edition of their bi-annual publication that’s dedicated to all things digital, called  “Somerset Digital Studio.”

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been published!  I submitted 2 layouts to them just before midnight on the day they were due (leave it to me the procrastinator to wait until the very last minute!).   They published my ‘Butterfly Bush’ layout, which is one of my favorite pieces.
